Hartland Township is governed by a seven (7) member Board of Trustees, of which two (2) have full-time statutory duties (Clerk and Treasurer) and five (5) are part-time (Supervisor and four Trustees).  The Township Manager is appointed by the Board of Trustees and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the various operating departments of the Township organization.

Meeting Schedule

All regular meetings will be held at the Township Hall, 2655 Clark Road, Hartland, Michigan 48353.  Meetings will be held on the first and third Tuesday of each month and will commence promptly at 7:00pm, except when noted below.  Special meetings and work sessions will be called and held at the discretion of the Hartland Township Board of Trustees, with due and proper notice of such meetings to Board members and posted at the Township Hall at least eighteen (18) hours prior to meetings.
