Roads and Restaurants: Township residents told us what they want

Every few years, the Township has partnered with Cobalt Community Research to conduct a citizen satisfaction survey, which is mailed to a random but demographically representative selection of 1,500 Hartland residents.
The main takeaway? The Township exceeds state, regional, and national benchmarks in most dimensions
Some key highlights include:
- Citizens expressed strong support for current policing levels/services, at an increase over the last survey in 2015
- Residents also expressed strong interest in investing in road improvements and the development of more restaurant and dining options
- We continue seeing a favorable upward trend of respondents who feel Hartland is a “great place for business” not only have positive responses in this category increased over the last two surveys, but they also exceed the national and state benchmarks
