Accountant- Full Time

Looking for a meaningful career in public service? Hartland Township is hiring a Full-Time Accountant to join our Finance Department!

We're seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional with a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and at least four years of professional accounting experience. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in payroll, accounts payable, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting. Municipal accounting experience and familiarity with BS&A.Net financial software are a plus.

This full-time position works closely with the Finance Director to support the Township's financial operations, including payroll, budgeting, financial reporting, and annual audit preparation. See full description in the document below.

Pay: $28.85 to $32.39/hr based on a 38 hour work week, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
