The office of Township Clerk is an elected board position that holds a four-year term. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Administering the Oath of Office for all Township elected officials.
  • Maintaining the Township's records retention, storage, and timely destruction
  • Preparation of minutes of the Township board meetings 
  • Updating and publishing of changes in Zoning and Code Ordinances
  • Approving, signing, and recording all vouchers for payment from budget accounts

Elections

  • Maintaining current voter registration records
  • Plans, organizes, and oversees federal, state, and local elections in accordance with State and Federal Law
  • Training and hiring election workers.
  • Encourage and educate the public on voter registration.
