Settlers Park is Located adjacent to the Township Hall on Clark Road, and consists of 100 acres of rolling fields, wooded areas, and wetlands. It also features a 1.4-mile paved bike path and almost 7 miles of natural surface trails. The Motor City Mountain Biking Association installed the bike path, which is open to 2-way, non-motorized traffic.

A playscape, pavilion, butterfly garden, Little Free Library, restrooms, and separate drinking fountains for both pets and their humans were recently added. There’s even a sledding hill that was constructed in 2014.

Playground includes 3 benches and 1 picnic table

The pavilion is available to rent by contacting the Clerk’s Office either in person at 2655 Clark Rd, Hartland or by emailing a reservation form (see supporting documents below) at deputyclerk@hartlandtwp.com. Reservations are not accepted for Friday-Sunday of holiday weekends, or the actual holiday if it falls on a weekday.

Please note: There are several electrical outlets, however, there is just ONE electrical circuit, which can handle up to 15 amps. If you are using more than one outlet, please be sure that the combined electrical use is below 15 amps, or the electrical system will shut down.

Reminder: dogs must be leashed, and owners are required to clean up after their pup. During Township office hours of 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday-Thursday, dog owners may pick up a free Mutt Mitt from the front desk of Township Hall when walking a dog at Settlers.
