Now Hiring: Part-Time Receptionist

Hartland Township is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to serve as the first point of contact at Township Hall. This part-time role (Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM) offers competitive pay ($16.00–$24.50/hour) and a dynamic mix of responsibilities.

Duties include greeting visitors, answering phones, handling mail and correspondence, providing general information, and supporting clerical operations. The position also involves passport processing and notary services, along with maintaining office records, supplies, and equipment.

Ideal candidates have strong communication and organizational skills, experience with office software and equipment, and at least one year of clerical or secretarial experience. A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required, along with the ability to obtain Notary Public and Passport Acceptance Agent certifications.
